Back to School!

 

Hello Everydollie! School is here again and I got off to a great start!  Livey and I are walking home for our first day back to school at InnerstarU! 

 

We took our dogs to Pet Palooza for the day and we took the long way to our dorms because it was such a beautiful day outside! After we got our dogs we passed the park and sat there for awhile! 

"Wow who knew skate-boarding could be so tiring!?" complained Livey 

"Let's hang at the park." I suggested 

"Awesome! Ok!"

 

Sugar was swarming to get out of my hand so she could stretch her little legs. 

Plus Meatloaf was going a bit too fast. 

 

"Lets sit here!" I said 

 

Livey skidded to a stop and nearly lost her balance,"I'am still new at this." she said   

 

I giggled! "That's ok!" 

We all plopped down tired and worn out! 

 

That is all excepted for Meatloaf, she jumped up onto Livey and licked her face uncontrollably!!!! 

 

"Meatloaf!" 

 

"I feel bad for Rose!"(Our InnerstarU friend) I said 

Her day was anything but fun, she forgot half her books lost her lunch money and when she waited in line at the vending machine it was out of service when she got there! 

 

"Yeah we should do something for her!" Livey replied "We could get her a dog!" 

"Great Idea! We can give it to her tomorrow!"

Saturday Salutations

 

Hello everydolly! Today was a bright and brisk Saturday so I went out to the Blue Sky Nature Center in InnerstarU! I walked out of my dorm room and passed my friend Logan, who was on the school boating team, looked unhappy, 

"Whats wrong Logan?" I questioned 

"No matter what I can not win the boating race at Star-fire Regatta down at the lake!"

"I am sure you can do it! You are the best boater I know!" I encouraged her 

"Are you sure that I am not the only boater you know?" Logan asked 

"No! I know Emmy, Sara, Kalie..."

"Ok! Ok! You really think so? Well you have not seen me boat lately! And whats worse is that the tryouts for the school boating team is tomorrow, I'll never make it!" 

Logan trudged to the lake, and I walked to the Nature Center, I felt really bad for Logan. 

I wish I could do something. I thought as I plopped down on the park bench.

 

I looked around an thought what would make me fell better so could help Logan feel better.  Then I looked up. 

 

The sun was smiling down on the earth, Whenever the sun shines it is like a little greeting card! I thought

 

I knew what to do for Logan! 

I rushed to my dorm room to wright Logan a card! I got a pencil and paper and folded it in half and carefully drew a sun on the front, and then I wrote 

Hello Logan, 

Hello is too, well normal. So I erased Hello and wrote one of my fave words from a book I read called "Charlotte's Web" 

 Salutations (means Hello)   

 

I took the note and and ran to the lake but instead I saw Logan walking out of the Library on the way instead. 

"LOGAN!" I yelled, scarcely out of breath 

"What is it Julie?" she asked "I decided that I am not going to tryout for the team." 

"What?!? But Logan you belong on that team! And besides it is tryouts not make-the-team-outs!" I said even more out of breath scared that my note wouldn't motivate her. 

"But-" she started to say 

"Here." 

I handed her the note and went back to my dorm. The next day Logan knocked on my dorm door.

"Julie I made the boating team! I was not even going to tryout! But your letter changed my mind." She was bursting with joy.

"See? I knew you could do it!!!!" I said! 

 Brighten a friend's day my sending her salutations!

Perfect Pic nic

  

Today I had a summer pick-nick with all of my friends! Of course we had our furry friend, Coconut, come along!  Nicki, Livey, Rosey (or Rose), Kirsten and me! We had so much fun! We ate sandwiches and yogurt raisins and fruit salad! InnerstarU was Beautiful today and we chose to go the Morning star Meadow and flew kites then we settled down and ate some lunch! 

 

"Wow it really is pretty here!" awed Nicki 

"Anyone for some lunch?" I said enthusiastically 

"Yes we'er starving!" they all replied 

 

I pulled out and passed all the plates out then the sandwiches, then I saw that the basket was empty! I knew I had made some pink lemonade! "Has anyone seen the lemonade?"

"No, Nope Sorry." 

 

"Coconut!" yelled Kirsten 

 

She was drinking the pink lemonade! 

"Coconut!" We all giggled 

It really was the perfect pick nick!  

  

I went to give Nicki a tour of innerstaru and we went to the Blue Sky Nature Center, and here are some Photo's we took! 

 

There are a lot a pictures! But hardly any words, but a picture is worth'a thousand words! 

Happy Earth day!

Happy earth Day ! One of my favorite things to do is to go to the local park. There are always pretty plants and flowers! But when I arrived today I found that a forest fire destroyed almost all the park! 

As I walked closer I saw another doll there stringing tape around the damage the fire had done.

“Hello.” She said, “My name is Rosey and I work at the local Nature Preserve/Wildlife refuge, can I help you? "
“I was just wondering why you are stringing tape?!” I replied.

“We didn't want anyone messing with it!" she said

    

“I see,” I said “This is sad! I loved going to the park!” 

“If you want to, we need help raising money to plant new trees.” explained Rosey.

And that is just what we did! And I have to add, we made a pretty good team! 

  

When we finally had money to plant trees, Rosey showed me how to properly plant one. 

 

After months and months of tending the little seeds, they suddenly weren't seeds, but little trees! 

 

It felt great to help the park! And I made an awesome new friend! What a good Earth Day!
